As we enter holidays and the storm season for QLD and NSW, it's important to note that we offer a 24 hour emergency make-safe service for our clients and their customers throughout the east coast of Australia. When a claim event occurs, we understand the importance of mitigating further damages for our clients and the insured. Structural building damage can be promptly assessed by our in-house engineering team to facilitate the implementation of necessary measures, addressing potential risks to buildings or structures and ensuring the safety of individuals. It is common industry practice for make-safe works to be completed by trades not qualified nor experienced to assess building or structure damage, potentially compromising the safety of themselves and others. Our make-safe works are planned, coordinated, inspected, constructed and overseen by our dedicated team of in-house engineers and builders. Last week we were in Casterton assisting with event claims. A hail storm lashed the south-western Victorian town last month causing water damage and holes in ceilings, roofs and windows. Our team has been on the ground doing a variety of work for the people of Casterton, from make safes to repairs. The community are fantastic, we wish everyone well as we continue to keep things moving forward for local residents and businesses.

Last month our Melbourne team had a mental health session with Cooper Chapman from The Good Human Factory. Cooper presented the ‘Feel Good + Gratitude’ workshop with our team, covering topics like Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness and how they effect our mental health. Our staff walked away with knowledge of what small every day tools they can implement to strengthen their mental health. Thanks Cooper!

BEFORE Vs AFTER 📍 Newmarket, Brisbane Our QLD team rebuilt this gorgeous Gazebo and retaining wall after a massive tree collapsed in storms, damaging the gazebo and causing the retaining wall to collapse. The end result is pretty spectacular!

Last week some of our Bendigo staff did training for their Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence. Thanks to ACE Training East Bendigo for teaching our staff how to set up, operate, position, and safely work from an EWP.
