Codrus Minerals Limited (ASX:CDR) is pleased to update the market with the completion of the UAV magnetic survey at the Jasper Wedge Uranium Project. The Project is situated within the world-class Athabasca Basin uranium field in northern Saskatchewan, Canada 🔷 Codrus has completed a close-spaced, UAV Magnetics survey at the Jasper Wedge Uranium Project, Athabasca Basin, Canada. 🔷 The UAV magnetics was flown on a 100m line spacing, infilling historical, fixed-wing, aeromagnetic surveys collected on a 200m flight line spacing. 🔷 The survey concentrated on the northeastern area of the Jasper Wedge mineral claim, closest to known uranium mines. 🔷 Multiple structural features have been identified that correlate nicely with pre-defined geophysical (historic) and Sentinel-2 (recent) anomalies. 🔷 Codrus is now planning a ground geochemical survey which will further investigate these anomalies, allowing for a more focused design of potential future drill targets. 🔷 Jasper Wedge is ideally positioned in the high-grade, Rabbit Lake – McArthur River uranium belt, only 45km SE of Cigar Lake Uranium Mine.  #CDR #ASX #uranium #canada #exploration #drilling Click to read -> https://lnkd.in/dhKAUHEZ

Multiple exciting exploration targets have been identified within the area, which is itself situated within a known uranium belt in the Athabasca Basin, northern Saskatchewan, Canada, a highly prolific and world-class uranium jurisdiction.   The Jasper Wedge Uranium Project is surrounded by tightly held tenure owned by global uranium mining giants, such as Cameco Corporation (Cameco), and is well positioned between Cameco’s former Rabbit Lake Uranium Mine and currently operational McArthur River / Key Lake Uranium Mine. This ideal geographic and geological location makes Jasper Wedge highly prospective.   Codrus plans to commence a program of target-specific, close-spaced ground exploration to further define the targets identified through review of the historical data. Codrus Minerals Limited is pleased to advise it has completed the data acquisition of an extensive high-quality Loupe electromagnetic (EM) survey at its #Karloning REE Project in WA 🇦🇺 🔹 Previous drilling at Karloning intersected exceptional mineralisation in both clays and saprock, including a standout intercept of 29m at 5,915ppm TREYO from 12m including 4m grading 12,366pmm (1.2%) from 24m* in drill-hole KGAC054. 🔹 The information obtained from this pivotal geophysical survey will be used to identify areas with a well-developed clay profile over the underlying crystalline granite basement - which represent priority areas for targeting further high-grade REE mineralisation. 🔹 The opportunity to identify further mineralisation in the recently enlarged tenement holding on the back of this survey is significant, with only 6% of the Company’s overall tenure position drill tested to date.
