After a year of strong organic growth and acquisitions, we are pleased to announce record volumes of $8.9 billion in net assets financed across the COG group in FY24 – a 16% ($1.2 billion) increase on FY23. This outstanding achievement can be attributed to an increase in broker members and consistent volumes despite economic headwinds. While margins were squeezed and growth was harder to come by than in previous years, the strength and stability of COG members remained solid. With over 130,000 asset loans settled in FY24, we’re incredibly proud of our team and our lender panel for their unwavering commitment to our brokers. 🌟 COG is getting behind the CEO of our Novated division, Frank Agostino, as he prepares for his first Vinnies CEO Sleepout this year. Every night, thousands of Australians endure the harsh reality of homelessness - a situation that is undoubtedly challenging, but not insurmountable. Donations raised help Vinnies provide food, accommodation and essential services to people at risk and experiencing homelessness. After a robust first half, we are thrilled to announce the H1 FY24 results for COG Financial Services Limited. The group's broker network including COG Aggregation, Platform Finance, NFC Aggregation and UFS Aggregation played an integral role in the solid performance, with a comparable, 20% increase in net amount financed for H1 FY24. Ryan Young, COG Broking & Aggregation CEO, commented, “This growth was underpinned by modest market growth and strong new member acquisition, with brokers seeking to partner with a specialist and looking for the certainty of a well-established player.” Another key driver was the growth of our in-house support and processing service, COG Broker Services. Plus the 67% spike in originations from the COG broker network to our car buying service COG CarSelect. Young says, “We anticipate the second half will remain solid and hope to see some support from a gradual reduction in interest rates."
