  • 🚨 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵🚨 Banning engineered stone is an important step in addressing the dangers of respirable crystalline silica (RCS), but it’s just the beginning. As Pierce-Jones points out, we must also focus on the *hidden* risks of background RCS exposure. The next priority? 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. With the right technology, we can better track and control RCS exposure in workplaces where it’s not immediately visible, ensuring greater protection for workers across industries. Progress is being made, but now we need to act on the unseen dangers still putting workers at risk. #WorkplaceSafety #RCS #DustMonitoring #OccupationalHealth #ConstructionSafety #confinedspace #gasdetector https://lnkd.in/gh_4ngWV
