    23 MINUTES ⏱️ Research shows that it take 23 minutes to refocus after an interruption. I'll let that sink in for a minute. Hell, let it sink in for 23! As someone who previously managed agency workflow, I’ve seen how disruptions impact not just individual productivity, but the entire team's output. If your direct reports are getting interrupted multiple times a day, that’s hours of lost productivity. And the cost isn’t just in time; it’s in the quality of deep work, creative thinking, and strategic problem-solving. We're all guilty of it, so what's the solve? 🔍 Protect focus time: Consider implementing blocks of uninterrupted work time where notifications are off and meetings are minimised. It’s amazing how a few hours of deep focus can transform a team’s performance. 👥 Set the tone from the top: If you’re mindful about when you interrupt others, your team will follow suit. Encourage them to batch non-urgent questions and share updates during designated check-ins. 💡 Empower autonomy: Trust your team to handle tasks independently during these focus periods.
