Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a therapy rooted in understanding and changing behaviour. 🧑🤝🧑 ABA helps one unravel the intricacies of how behaviours work — to learn and promote positive behaviours and minimise those that are harmful. The environment has a major impact on a person's behaviour. 🌞 🏠At Crescent Respite, we provide a supportive environment that promotes good behaviour using clinically tested ABA principles. 👋Say hello to Emma Collins! 😃 With an OT career that spans more than 11 years, she brings a wealth of experience under her belt. Emma started working in 2012 as an OT specialist in the UK before moving to Australia in 2018. 💡 Her expertise spans hospital, age care, community, and respite settings, making her a dynamic force in the team. Emma's passion shines in working with neurological conditions, specializing in life skill training, ILO, SIL, SDA, and AT. As a certified NDIS home modification assessor and Sensory Integration alumna, she's a big proponent of person-centered care. She started her Crescent Respite journey as a Team Leader. Fast forward to 2024, Emma is our Clinical Manager.
