Woohoo, we did it! It has been a massive year for the team at Cygence®. Here’s a few of our highlights, in no particular order: ✈️ 320,000 kilometres flown to travel to attend conferences/events and connect with the Global cyber community 🚗 6,500 kilometres driven to travel to conferences/client project delivery and connect with the Australian cyber community 🖥️ We launched multiple technology solutions including our gamified learning and development platform Cygence® the Game and our Information Warfare Simulation More Cowbell 🛡️ Our CEO, Amy Ormrod, led the multi-national, multi-disciplinary Australian Team for Locked Shields 2024 🎫 Sponsors for industry events including: Blackhat USA 2024, HR Technology Conference and Exposition 2024, MILCIS 2024, Australian Cyber Conference 2024 (Melbourne CyberCon) 🎟️ We hosted a contest at DEFCON for the second year in a row 🗣️ Delivered Thought leadership presentations at various Australian and International industry forums including: -MORS Wargaming Symposium -DAIRNet Defence AI and Industry Symposium -Global Information Conference Australia 2024 (Phoenix Challenge) -Australian Command and Staff College -Blackhat USA 2024 -Connections Oz -CYDEF2024 👨🏫 Delivered 4 x IRAP training courses to expand the growing pool of assessors across Australia 👩🦰 Provided mentorship to the Veterans SA Mentor Program 🍾 Key members of the Coordinating Committee for the Inaugural BSides Adelaide 2024 And...we couldn’t have done it without you. But it wasn’t always easy…This year also came with some challenges, but it’s people like you that keep us motivated to do what we do. We are so lucky to have you be part of it all. Stay tuned... An absolute honour to meet the Japanese Minister of Defense Gen Nakatani at the #CYDEF2024 Reception this evening. Our CEO, Amy Ormrod, is in Tokyo this week to present at CYDEF2024. Since its inception in 2018, CYDEF intends to provide a platform where participants from both the public and private sectors can gather to discuss and take action against complex and contemporary threats. Amy is amongst a select group of experts with solid theoretical foundations and frontline experiences in intelligence, cybersecurity, and national security from free nations such as the United States, Europe, and ASEAN countries who are gathering to engage in in-depth discussions on the current state of modern conflicts, cyber warfare, and critical infrastructure protection. #cygence #cyber #criticalinfrastructure
