Marking 21 years since his HIV diagnosis, Matt shares the importance and what World AIDS Day means to him: “World AIDS Day prompts me to reflect deeply on my own journey with HIV. Diagnosed while studying at uni, each year since has been a lesson in the power of solidarity and support. Sharing my story with the business was a profound moment for me. It was a testament to the healing potential of visibility and the dismantling of stigma. "At Endeavour, I am grateful to be part of an organisation that champions bringing our authentic selves to work. This culture of inclusivity has empowered me to help others by sharing my lived experience. Our new partnership with the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, Australia’s longest-running HIV charity, is particularly close to my heart. We are excited to announce that Dan Murphy's has just launched its 100th solar powered store in Coolum, Queensland ☀️ The 100 Dan’s stores with solar have generated 7,300 MWh of renewable energy, enough to power 1,330 homes for the year! These stores have also reduced 16,000 tonnes of carbon emissions, the equivalent of 763,000 trees🌳 Another 25 Dan Murphy’s stores will receive solar panels in the next year. People. Planet. Purpose.

We would like to welcome our newest team member to the Dan Murphy’s family Daniel Ricciardo. We believe in thinking big, pushing the boundaries and having a good time while doing it, which are qualities that Dan shares. From a young age, Daniel Ricciardo has been living life in the fast lane, both on and off the track. Whilst he is famous for his racing antics, wine has always been his secret passion. A passion which he inherited from his father (this is starting to sound very similar to another founders story named Dan who loved wine). Combining this love for adventure and wine, Ricciardo partnered with St Hugo Wines in 2020 bring us he delightful DR3 Wines. Ricciardo works hands on with the St Hugo Chief Winemaker, Peter Munro and the team at St Hugo. He dives into every aspect of the winemaking process, getting his hands dirty in the Barossa! The partnership is all about crafting wines that reflect Ricciardo’s character and values of precision and passion. With DR3 wines now available nationally at Dan Murphy’s, Dan Ricciardo jumped at the opportunity to help stock the shelves full. We offered him a shelf, he heard a store – so we gave him one. So if you are in Sydney from the 12th to the 14th of July head down to Dan Murphy's Alexandria, or should we say Dan Ricciardo’s, for one weekend only to taste the latest DR3 range of wines and experience everything Dan Murphy’s and Dan Ricciardo’s has to offer.
