We joined the University of Southern Queensland at their Toowoomba glasshouses to help launch Australia’s largest, fully autonomous H portal system – PlantEye 3D multispectral scanner. 👏 This cutting-edge system scans crops across a 157m² research area, providing a non-invasive way to research crop health and explore the impacts of disease and climate on plants. 🌱🌧️ We’re proud to have collaborated with UniSQ on research and development that drives productivity and efficiency as we strive to boost primary industries’ output to $30 billion by 2030. Our mission? Strengthening biosecurity, diagnostics, and surveillance to safeguard sustainable horticulture and ensure market access. 🌱🦟 Key Focus Areas: 🔍 Enhanced Diagnostics – Improving identification techniques to detect emerging threats and ensure rapid response strategies to safeguard crops. 🔍Comprehensive Pest Management: Developing tools for effective pest control, surveillance, and monitoring to minimize the impact of both local and exotic insect pests to maintain business continuity. 🔍Collaborative Research: Fostering connections among researchers at all career stages to boost market access research capacity and drive continuous improvement in pest management strategies.
