It was lovely to catch up with Hon Minister for Tourism Zoe Bettison MP at Banrock Station during her recent visit to the Riverland. It was also great to hear from Banrock Station’s Cellar Door Manager, Ronelle, talking about the recent return of water to their stunning wetlands after Drying Season. The view speaks for itself! Pictured are Banrock Station’s Ronelle Linke, Georgia Geelen & Kate Gillespie from Destination Riverland and Hon Minister for Tourism Zoe Bettison MP.

Yesterday DR staff Kate & Georgia attended the official opening of the 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁. The infrastructure was officially opened by Hon Minister for Tourism Zoe Bettison MP and Renmark Paringa Council Mayor Peter Hunter, before attendees walked along the new space. Congratulations to the Renmark Paringa Council and all the businesses involved that delivered this project 👏 We can’t wait to see visitors enjoying this new asset! ℹ️ 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼 (thanks to RPC) 👇 The project was made possible through funding from the Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program, and the Local Government Disaster Recovery Assistance Arrangements. Funding was also received from the South Australia Constraints Measures project being delivered by the Government of South Australia and funded by the Australian Government, as part of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. The project, led by Ecospec Coastal and Marine, injected an estimated $2 million into the local economy through the involvement of over 40 local businesses! 📸Images thanks to Grant Schwartzkopff
