WINNER WINNER WINNER We are thrilled to share that Devlyn Construction and our team received three awards at the 2024 Great Southern MBA Awards!   Taking home the overall award for the ‘2024 Commonwealth Bank Best Regional Project Great Southern’ was the Ravensthorpe Cultural Precinct by Devlyn Construction. This project also won the ‘Best Public Use Building $5,000,000 - $10,000,000’ award category. Thank you to all project stakeholders and subcontractor partners for this amazing result, it really is a team effort.   Congratulations also goes to our very own Matthew Hall for being awarded the 2024 Great Southern Project Manager of the Year.   Well done to all entries, finalists and award winners!   ----   From the MBA: The Shire of Ravensthorpe Cultural Precinct by Devlyn Construction was a stand-out entry in the awards this past weekend. Crafted from 30-year-old unused plantation stock from Denmark, the level of detail and use of wood in the new 1,400sqm innovative hub is something you don’t see every day. Using timber for both the structure and façade offered the advantage of prefabrication off-site, lightweight construction, durability, and an environmentally friendly material selection. Further progress photography for The Exchange Hotel. Located on the banks of the Bilya Maadjit (Murray River), Exchange Hotel sits on the traditional lands of the Binjareb people of the Noongar Nation. The Shire of Murray developed a distinctive vision to redevelop this site into a vibrant destination and contemporary hospitality venue – intending on creating a “regional icon” for the community. The architectural concept aims to honor the heritage of the multiple structures while adding new elements providing a contemporary overlay. The design contains a mix of solid and open spaces, housing bars, dining areas, function rooms, and a new commercial kitchen. The venue will accommodate up to 600 people inside and out.   The interiors celebrates the history of the site by revealing its past through thoughtful design. We have strived to respect the building's former uses and construction techniques while creating a modern space that seamlessly blends old and new elements.   As we work closely with the Shire of Murray, DEVLYN CONSTRUCTION, and the venue operators in the final stages of construction, we’re excited for the revival of this once bustling hub of Pinjarra and the positive impact it will have on the community.   Read more about this project on our most recent blog post: https://lnkd.in/gAiiVYRT #HuntArchitects #WeAreHunt #Architecture #MasterPlanning #Interiors

Works have officially begun on the St Andrew’s Grammar STEM Buildings! This project will see three new teaching blocks built, with an aim to accommodate the expanding needs of the school while also providing a greater diversity of subjects offered to students. #education #devlyn #devlynconstruction

We are pleased to share that the Goose Beach Bar and Kitchen by Devlyn Construction has won the Best Retail Building $1,500,000 - $5,000,000 at the 2024 South West Commonwealth Bank Master Builders Awards.   This project was also a finalist for the 2024 Commonwealth Bank Best Regional Project South West.   Congratulations and well done to all winners, finalists and entries!
