Customised Employment is underpinned by discovery. Providers must work with the young people to develop an understanding of their strengths, skills and interests. It requires providers that are committed to meaningful, sustainable employment for people with disabilities. However, this is not always the case on the ground with NDIS reporting that 53% of participants left the programs without achieving any outcomes.
