I love Felicity Carter's thoughts. Great read and a nod to experiential marketing and education. "While choice is important in general to ‘zillennials’, it can be overwhelming when it comes to wine. Making the "correct" choice is important to them. Theoretically very open to wine, this group are also simply too preoccupied with the challenges of everyday life. They recognise that wine brings a certain sophistication, that it’s about enjoyment and relaxing, and that it’s aspirational. Importantly, when younger people get together, many don’t want to get drunk. Time poor, they want to remember their experiences with their friends. Don't Forget The Wine: Our logo - what do you think? Having collaborated with Drew Joyce at Working Images on the rebranding of Karatta Wines, they were the perfect for Don't Forget The Wine's logo and brand feel. DFTWine came from a concept we developed for a retail store, a prompt to not 'forget the wine' on the way home, but soon resonated further afar. The reference that smaller wineries can so often become bogged down in strategy, marketing + admin duties, and that we can take care of those, ensuring they remember why the winery exists in the first place - that they "Don't Forget the Wine". Some playful, some serious and one certainly naughty, we liked the fact Working Images gave us a number of different options with the logo, which are clear and precise, and allow us to model our offering to our clients.
