Progress Update || Combined Project Teams BBQ at Rouse Hill Our project teams had a fantastic BBQ on-site to celebrate the progress of the Rouse Hill Bus Depot and Praxis Warehouses projects. It was great to bring the teams together, recognising the hard work and dedication that’s driving these projects forward. The Bus Depot is coming along well, with pavement works nearing completion and external landscape works underway. Meanwhile, the Praxis Warehouses precinct is shaping up beautifully, with excellent coordination keeping things on track. This BBQ was a perfect chance to thank everyone involved and share updates across both sites. The teamwork and collaboration on display are what make these achievements possible. PROJECT UPDATE || ROUSE HILL - PRAXIS BUSINESS PARK Exciting progress continues at Praxis Business Park in Rouse Hill! DSD Group is working alongside Mabasha Corporation to bring fourteen industrial units to the area, offering modern, functional spaces for future tenants. We’ve recently achieved a key milestone with the final external slab pour. To mark this progress, the team hosted an Argentinian - style BBQ on site, celebrating our hardworking subcontractors and their efforts in helping us reach this stage. Momentum is strong as we move towards project completion by the end of 2024. I am excited to share that this week marks the opening of the first Retailers as part of the Martin Place Metro Station project by Macquarie Group! This project has been a labor of love for our team, as we collectively set out to create a vibrant and inclusive space for everyone in the heart of Sydney. From the very beginning, our goal was to not only create a functional retail space, but also a place that fosters community and connection. We wanted to make sure that Martin Place Metro Station became a destination where people could come together. Throughout the process, we faced challenges and obstacles (like any good complex project), but our team never wavered in our commitment to bringing this project to life. I am so proud of what we have accomplished with the Martin Place Metro Station retail, and I truly believe that it will become a beloved hub in the heart of Sydney. With this stage complete, we’re now ready to commence the structural steel framing for the upper level and roof. Highlights from our 2024 Health and Safety Workshop It was a fantastic afternoon where our team came together to enhance their skills, build knowledge, and raise awareness through interactive sessions. The event offered an opportunity to hear from key leaders within the business and gain valuable insights into managing high-risk activities by Kevin Collins and the importance for Principal Contractors to understand their obligations as the PCBU on site as presented by Vinesh Singh. The workshop reinforced our commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring best practices in safety, both internally and in the services, we provide to our workers, subcontractors and clients, A special shoutout to our award recipient, Dragan S. for leading by example in the workplace.
