  • 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝘂𝘅 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 - 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Every year since 2008, the Dulux Study Tour jury, in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Architects, selects five emerging architects to visit important architectural sites and practices in three cities around the world over ten days. On Thursday, 17 October, over 70 of these Dulux Study Tour Alumni gathered in Melbourne to reconnect. The day started with a private tour of the Munro Development at Queen Victoria Market, facilitated by the firm Six Degrees Architects. A vital part of the $250 million Queen Victoria Market Renewal, this development is the city’s largest community hub and one of Australia’s most sustainable mixed-use developments. Following the project tour, the group attended the Alumni event at the National Gallery of Victoria, officially welcoming the 2024 inductees who also presented and shared their personal experiences on the 2024 Dulux Study Tour. It was also a great opportunity for the Alumni group from across the country to reunite after another year, to connect and celebrate their enduring friendships. We thank the Alumni group for their continued support of Dulux. We continue to celebrate the exceptional achievements and contributions of the Alumni members to the field of architecture, creating the spaces in which we live and thrive. We’d like to thank all the Alumni who attended this year and congratulate once more the 2024 Dulux Study Tour inductees. A special thanks to Phil White who has supported the Dulux Study Tour for over 18 years. • 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. As proud partners with North Melbourne FC, our collaboration goes beyond just colour and paint; it’s about building a vibrant community and supporting diversity in sports and the workplace. Dulux joined the North Network, becoming a partner of club’s community arm, The Huddle, and the club’s Freestyle – Women in Trades program in early 2023. These partnerships are about helping paint a new career pathway as well as build a future to attract young women and non-binary people to enter the construction industry. This week, some of the DuluxGroup team attended a North Network event at North Melbourne FC which showcased Diversity as a strength in the workplace. Thanks for having us, we're proud to continue to partner with a club driven by passion and purpose. #DuluxGroup #ImagineABetterPlace #Diversity #NorthMelbourneFC #NorthNetwork
