This year’s #WorldSoilDay celebrates caring for soils by measuring, monitoring and managing them! Our #HealthyEstuariesWA fertiliser management program helps farmers measure the nutrient content of their soils and make informed fertiliser decisions to benefit farm productivity and our waterways. Working with farmers, partner catchment groups and the Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development, this work helps ensure nutrients stay on farms and out of our waterways! Through workshops and field trials, we are also exploring how looking after the biological aspects of soil health can help improve productivity and nutrient retention on farms.
