As part of our community volunteer day initiative our Marketing & Communications team spent the morning at Give Write, a Perth based not-for-profit enterprise that accepts donations of new and pre-loved school stationery to recycle, repackage and regift to Western Australian kids in need. As well as helping local families, the program is also aimed at promoting recycling to reduce local landfill. Many thanks to the team at Give Write WA for sharing your story and letting us lend a hand!

Brooke joined EBM in 2008, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in the insurance industry. Over the past decade and a half, Brooke has held a series of pivotal roles, each demonstrating her technical broking skills and unwavering dedication. Whether managing day-to-day operations or ensuring the smooth running of the Gold Coast office, Brooke is described by her team as always going above and beyond, maintaining a positive attitude and is appreciated for her willingness to offer guidance with a genuine smile. Thank you for being such an amazing team member and for all you do, Brooke!

Congratulation to Miguel Barrigos for reaching his 5 year anniversary with EBM. Miguel joined our Melbourne team in October 2019 as an Account Manager, bringing with him over a decade of insurance expertise gained from prior key roles held within the industry. Miguel's expertise in managing commercial and corporate accounts has been invaluable. His comprehensive knowledge across all insurance classes, coupled with his background in claims have contributed to the team success over the past five years. Always happy to share his insights and assist where needed, Miguel is an integral and highly valued member of the team. Thanks Miguel for all your hard work!

We would like to congratulate Sandy Cattley on her 5th anniversary milestone with EBM. Sandy has been an integral part of the Marketing & Communications team since commencing with EBM in October 2019 as a Marketing Specialist based in the Perth office. With a strong background in marketing, business analysis, and communications, Sandy brought a wealth of expertise and a forward-thinking approach. Since day one, Sandy has demonstrated an exceptional ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver initiatives that have had a lasting positive impact; ultimately supporting her elevation to Senior Marketing Specialist. In 2021, Sandy furthered her professional development by completing a Mini-MBA in Marketing, reinforcing her dedication to both personal and professional growth. Sandy is a highly respected member of the team and cherished for both her witty sense of humour and warm, approachable demeanour. Thank you, Sandy – you are such a valued part of our team and we are grateful for everything you do!

We are delighted to celebrate Ryan Cameron's 10th anniversary milestone with EBM. Ryan embarked on his EBM journey in 2014 as a Corporate Account Director within the Broking business area in the Perth office, bringing extensive experience and knowledge in insurance broking, particularly in his work with building and fostering client relationships. Ryan has chartered a notable course of continuous progress, transitioning first to State Manager – WA, then National Executive General Manager, and most recently, Director of Broking. This included a two-year secondment to Melbourne from 2018-2020 which was integral to the growth and development of the business. Ryan’s passion for agribusiness has seen him contribute a monthly feature editorial in Farm Weekly, where he provides guidance on topical insurance and risk themes impacting the industry across WA. His commitment to clients and leadership also shone through in the aftermath of Cyclone Seroja in 2021 where he supported countless clients through significant, complex claims. Congratulations Ryan!

Best of luck to the MLG team who will take part in this weekend’s MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins. A big shout out to EBM’s Chelsey Harris who is part of the team this year and will join MLG on the journey. Thank you to everyone involved in this amazing charity event.
