🌱 Driving Circularity in Construction 🌍 Special thanks to John Holland for supporting this important conversation with Engineers Australia on the future of sustainable construction. With rising environmental concerns and resource scarcity, the construction industry must move beyond the linear "take-make-dispose" model and embrace Circular Economy (CE) principles. CE offers a sustainable path forward by reducing waste, extending building lifespans, and recovering valuable resources. In an upcoming webinar, we’ll explore: ✅ The most widely adopted circular strategies in construction ✅ Barriers to implementing CE principles in Australia ✅ The role of education, culture, policies, and incentives in driving change ✅ Economic benefits of transitioning to circularity This session will provide practical insights into overcoming barriers and leveraging CE strategies to create more sustainable construction practices. 📅 Registration Closes: 03 December 2024 07.00 pm AEDT Join us to explore how we can shape a regenerative future together. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/gsdRhxAV

  • Today is International Men's Day 2024, we at ECORR are pausing to reflect on the importance of communication and mental well-being. We recognize the importance of open dialogue and mental health support, especially for men who may find it challenging to share their struggles. Asking "R U OK?" in a caring and non-judgmental way can provide a safe space for men to feel supported and valued. It’s a simple gesture that can mean a lot. Let's take the opportunity today and every day to reach out and engage in meaningful conversations #internationalmensday2024 #mentalhealth #RUOK

♻️ It’s day one of Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week! This year’s theme, ‘Join the cycle’, highlights the importance of engaging in sustainable recycling practices and understanding how materials can have multiple lives through recycling processes. In the lead up to National Recycling Week, our team toured the impressive facilities of ECORR Pty Ltd - Eco Resource Recovery a New South Wales-based organisation pioneering the recycling of construction waste – that would otherwise go to landfill – into high-performance, circular construction materials and solutions. BMD has already sourced 60,000 tonnes of Ecorr’s recycled materials, including bedding sand, pavement, and asphalt for a road project in Moorebank, New South Wales. This sustainable practice reflects BMD’s focus on conserving natural resources and delivering greater environmental value to our clients. At BMD, we’re committed to operating in a way which ensures the protection of our planet and improves the environmental amenity for the communities we serve. Through innovative design, conscientious delivery and community-led initiatives, we take pride in our impact towards a more sustainable Australia for years to come. #PlanetArk #NationalRecyclingWeek #Recycling #BMD
