Earlier this month, some of our team members had the opportunity to take part in a tree-planting day with our climate action partner, Greenfleet. The event was held a couple of hours outside Melbourne, in the beautiful South Gippsland region, where we planted around 800 native trees! It was especially meaningful to visit the Strzelecki Nature Link forest and see firsthand the incredible work Greenfleet is doing to restore native forests. We're stoked to share our team's dedication during the Sleep Health Foundation's 'Sleep Health Week'. Everyone did a fantastic job tracking their sleep, sticking to a consistent bedtime, eating healthier, and increasing their activity levels. A couple of weeks ago, our Australian team had their annual End of Financial Year party, and it was a hit! 🎉 We kicked off the celebrations with an amazing lunch at one of our faves, Daughter in Law. The food was delicious and fuelled us for what was ahead. Next, we headed to Ballers Clubhouse, ready for some friendly competition. We split into teams and battled it out in darts, ping pong, and shuffleboard. There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of cheering, and a few surprising talents revealed. The winning team now holds the ultimate bragging rights for the foreseeable future, and we’re all already looking forward to the rematch next year! 🏆🥳 Huge thanks to everyone who made this day so special. Here are some key messages we are excited to share: 🛌 Sleep is one of the three pillars of a healthy lifestyle, alongside healthy eating and regular exercise. 😴 Sleep disturbances can lead to poorer physical and mental health, increasing the risk of illness and chronic health conditions. 🛌 Sleep disorders can significantly impact people's lives, but effective treatments are available. 🌙 For those with irregular sleep patterns, like new parents and shift workers, there are strategies to reduce disturbances and improve sleep quality. We are challenging our team members to celebrate and promote these messages with our own Ecosa Sleep Health Week Challenge. Team members will track their sleep daily with the Ecosa Sleep app, aiming for consistent sleep and wake-up times.
