It was established in 1966 as the social hub of the energy industry in Perth, Western Australia. Last week 20 students from Dongara District High School attended the Mineral Resources Limited Exploration Rig located at Moriary Deep 1. The students visited the rig camp and exploration well site and met with the rig managers who explained the current activity. Many questions were asked showing high engagement by both the rig personnel and the students. Thank you to Darren Hardy and Jay Jacobsen of Mineral Resources Limited Resources for providing this marvelous opportunity to visit the rig in operation. And thank you Hamish Smith for all of the ongoing support and for organising, also attending the excursion along with Mineral Resources Limited staff to make it such a fantastic day for the students!
