We recently came together as a team to support one of our social impact partners, Harvest Hope Africa.    With creativity and care, we designed and decorated t-shirts for survivors of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo and drawstring bags for schoolchildren in Tanzania.   With uplifting messages in Swahili and French, these items will not only be practical – they’ll serve as powerful symbols of support and encouragement.    The messages included:   ·         Jiamini = Believe in yourself ·         Plus gentil, plus fort, plus courageux = Kinder, stronger, braver ·         Mambo ya ukarimu = Kindness matters ·         Forte, belle, digne = Strong, beautiful, worthy ·         Songa mbele = Keep going   For the women, the T-shirts will remind them of their strength and dignity, and for the children, the bags will show that their education and future are valued.   These small gestures reflect our value that Together we make a difference.   Find out more about our social impact partnerships and how you can make an impact https://lnkd.in/grGe_eXp   #efmLife #TogetherWeMakeADifference #HarvestHopeAfrica

Meet Andrew Bungur, Account Manager in our VIC office.   𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗳𝗺? I joined efm in 2021 due to the culture that was described to me and the opportunities. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲? As an Account Manager I work as a kind of project manager, helping customers with their needs such as setting up the right carriers for each customer’s freight profile. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗳𝗺? Every day is different and I am constantly learning. One day I may be on the road seeing customers and the next I could be at efm head office. Every day teaches me something new, whether that be new skills or knowledge about my customer's industry.
