I2N Accelerator Demo Night 2024: What an epic evening! 🚀 We celebrated the culmination of our most ambitious accelerator program yet on Wednesday night - 13 weeks of intensive growth, innovation, and transformation. Our ten ventures demonstrated exactly why the Hunter region is a powerhouse for innovation and deep-tech. The presentations were inspiring, showcasing solutions that tackle some of our most pressing global challenges. What makes this cohort special isn't just their innovative technology - it's their collaborative spirit and determination to make a real impact 🌱 None of this would be possible without our exceptional support team including our amazing Industry Connector, Charlotte Connell, who has opened countless doors and built bridges across industry, government, and corporate sectors. About last night….. I can’t think of a better place to have been than surrounded by impact entrepreneurs solving customer problems that also happen to be creating solutions for ALL people and our planet! 🌏 From harnessing nature’s tiniest super heroes to groundbreaking world first chemical tech, eliminating energy poverty with nature, to accessible beauty products, to protecting women in sport and creating livable nature-filled urban spaces, to operational efficiencies helping our most vulnerable. The ambition of these companies is inspiring, the impact incredible and the people are insanely smart. In just 8yrs I2N at The University of Newcastle have fuelled a new industry of innovation. We had a fantastic time at the I2N Accelerator Investor Showcase held at Sydney Startup Hub yesterday 🙌 Our Cleantech and All-Industries teams have been working hard for weeks to refine their pitches for the big event - and they did AWESOME 📢 👏 A big thank you to all the investors, mentors and connectors who attended. We are always blown away by the support and generous networking opportunties from our amazing ecosystem 🤝

This morning we hosted Assistant Minister for a Future Made in Australia, Senator Tim Ayres, today. After the packed Supply Chain Forum with Minister Pat Conroy and Sharon Claydon MP, we toured him through I2N at The University of Newcastle and heard from our impressive entrepreneurs from MGA Thermal EM ENERGY Ram Manufacturing and Resourceful Living. These companies are great examples of what's possible when we collaborate and innovate!
