Thank you ICMM for the work you are doing globally to ensure mining is both a physically and psychologically safe environment for everyone.
The mining industry has a duty to eradicate harmful behaviours and foster a work environment that is safe, inclusive, and respectful to all. This is why ICMM members have set a collective goal to benchmark performance on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to support performance improvement and transparently track progress being made. Accompanying this goal, ICMM has also published a set of practical tools and a roadmap to help accelerate meaningful progress on DEI across the industry. They’re free and available to everyone on our website. Learn more 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eKdPuBfB

Employment Hero is a necessary platform for any organisation that is serious about the “Employee Lifecycle”.
We’ve created this template to help guide managers through a mid-year review with their direct reports. Even if you already have weekly 1:1s in place, mid-year 1:1s are a great way to take a step back and reflect together on what went well, identify any particular difficulties or roadblocks encountered, aspects or processes that can be improved on, and create an action plan for working on those weaknesses moving forward. Download your fully customisable template now.

How can managers stay informed on what their team is working on without slowing things down? By using this... The Lean Updates tactic encourages bite-sized communication across teams and disciplines. By sharing key progress and blockers in a simple shared document, everyone gets the info they need to stay on track without lengthy meetings. Just follow these steps: 1. Set a timer for five minutes for your team to update a shared spreadsheet with key priorities, interesting updates, and blockers. 2. Allow five more minutes for teammates to review and ask questions. 3. Discuss and assign any necessary actions. Simple, huh? By keeping updates short but regular, you can step on top of your team's efforts without slowing them down! This week's #PipCOTW is a short form of Lean Updates from Team Tactics. #Teamwork #ManagementSkills #LinkedInTips

Our Impact Programs are at the core of why we do what we do. Based on their own lived experiences, The Spear Foundation Directors, Liza Fraser-Gooda, Barry McGuire, Francois Witbooi and Dawn France FGIA, MAHRI B.A (Hons) Law and Business, are passionate about ensuring that no child misses out at school, Elders have space to rekindle their connections and we bring positive changes to young women in the Justice system. These core motivations are what drives The Spear Foundation. In this video, the Directors explain this in more detail. 'If we want to walk far we have to walk together'. If your business wants to walk with us to create positive change, please get in touch.

The Enfranchise Team were privileged to spend a few days with The Safespear Board and Leadership Team to set the Strategy of the organisation until 2026 and to prioritise how to execute The Safespear Strategy. Strategy is pointless if you cannot execute - accountability ensures performance! Thank you to Chevron for hosting us and for Barry McGuire, for sharing with us all the cultural significance of the land on which we met! #safespear #strategy #chevron

Downer is dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and accepted, regardless of their background. As our organisation keeps growing and evolving, we will continue to prioritise inclusion and belonging to attract, develop and retain diverse talent and foster an inclusive culture. We have recently launched our Inclusion and Belonging Strategy and Action Plan 2024-2026, marking an important milestone in our journey toward a more inclusive and equitable workplace that empowers all employees to thrive and bring their whole selves to work. This Strategy and Action Plan is focused on three key areas: • Gender diversity • Indigenous (Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Māori peoples) • Inclusion (LGBTQIA+, disability and neurodiversity, cultural and linguistic diversity, and generational diversity) Through the delivery of the activities and initiatives in the Strategy and Action Plan, we will create and maintain a culture where all our employees feel respected and are celebrated for their differences. Watch this video to hear from our Chief People Officer, Jan O'Neill, and a number of our employees about what diversity, inclusion and belonging means to them. #TheDownerDifference #Inclusion #Belonging #DEI
