This week, we celebrate an incredible milestone as Dean Martin marks 30 years with Enware! Starting his journey as a Safety Sales Representative, Dean has held numerous roles, including Project Coordinator, Tapware Sales Representative, and Project Manager. Today, Dean is a pivotal Product Manager, a role he's excelled in for the past 7–8 years. His dedication and expertise have made a lasting impact, both on our products and the team. It’s officially Movember! Our team, Allen de Soza, Jason Hinds, Peter Dimos, and Grant O’Brien have put down their razors again to help fundraise and raise awareness for men’s health. Movember aims to support, advocate for, and fund research on various men’s health issues including mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Since the charities origin Movember has funded over 1,320 men's health projects globally, with a recent project awarding $1.5 million toward prostate cancer research. Watts will be contributing $5,000, and we hope to raise an additional $5,000 to reach our goal of $10,000. As part of National Safe Work Month, we're highlighting one of our recent safety projects at the RAAF Base in Tindal. Following a comprehensive risk assessment, Enware replaced the site's safety showers to meet enhanced health and safety standards. The base now features Enware's Platform Operated Multi-Spray Deluge Showers, ideal for high-risk areas with exposure to fuels and hazardous fluids. To ensure compliance with AS4775-2007, a chiller and UV bacterial filtration system were added, along with Enware’s Hazardous Area Alarm Systems, providing both audio and visual alerts. Breast Cancer affects 1 in 7 women in their lifetime, and every day 58 people in Australia are told the devastating news that they have breast cancer. This October, the Watts team are commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month with various initiatives that focus on education, awareness and research, as well as promoting healthy living for our team members globally. Last week, the Watts, AVG and Enware Australia teams came together to raise awareness for Breast Cancer by wearing pink for a day! Watts also donated $5 on behalf of team member to the Susan G. Komen organization, a non-profit organization that dedicate their funding towards research to prevent and cure breast cancer. In Australia, free routine mammographic screening is available in each state for women aged 50-74 through BreastScreen Australia.
