The team at Epsilon Underwriting is pleased to advise that from 1 December 2024 Aster Underwriting will be managed by Epsilon. We're also excited to announce that Nathan Kerr, Tiffany Armstrong and Donna Wise will all be joining us and we welcome them to the Epsilon family. The fully integrated team brings together many years of knowledge and experience, enabling us to capitalise on our shared industry knowledge and underwriting expertise. By joining forces under the Epsilon banner we will enhance our offerings in the Marine, Pest and Security product areas and strengthen our position in the market overall. Moving forward, our focus remains on our continued commitment to providing exceptional service to all broker partners under the Epsilon Underwriting brand. Important Note: From 1 December 2024, all policy renewals and existing policy changes for Aster Underwriting's Pest, Security and Marine policies will be serviced by Epsilon. Members of our Brisbane office today attended the Mater Foundation's 'Breast Ever Brunch' at Rydges, South Brisbane, in support of women living with breast cancer. Did you know that more than 21,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year? That's 1 in 7 of our mothers, daughters, sisters and friends. The Mater's Chicks in Pink team help women focus on the moments that matter most, and alleviate some of the emotional and financial burden a cancer diagnosis can bring. And Epsilon is honoured to support such a worthy cause. As a qualified lawyer with experience in the insurance and litigation space, Sam has acted on behalf of and advised insurers in relation to public liability claims made against their insured customers. With this background, Sam is well placed to assist brokers and their clients in understanding the potential liability exposures and insurance needs of their business, including in relation to liability assumed under contract. Did you know Thursday, 5 September is International Day of Charity? Earlier today, Epsilon's teams in Sydney and Brisbane took part in the "Miles for MSF" challenge as part of The Ardonagh Group's Give Back Week 2024. This year through the Ardonagh Community Trust's ('ACT') ongoing support of Médecins Sans Frontières, our global charity partner, we pounded the pavements around Sydney's Darling Harbour and the Brisbane CBD. Working in 70+ countries, MSF is an international humanitarian charity that goes where other organisations cannot or will not go, delivering emergency medical aid. To date, through the efforts of Group employees around the globe together with ACT, more than £800,000 has been raised as part of Give Back Week. In 2024, ACT's fundraising target is £100,000 for MSF and the Epsilon team are extremely proud to play our part.
