The Leukaemia Foundation’s Regional, Rural and Remote (RRR) Blood Cancer Control Program is set to tackle the challenge of providing timely blood cancer diagnosis and support to Australians living outside of capital cities. Almost 6,000 Australians die each year from blood cancer with those in regional, rural and remote communities at particular risk, according to Leukaemia Foundation CEO, Chris Tanti. “It's extremely frustrating to think that something as trivial as your postcode could have an impact on your chances of receiving a timely diagnosis for blood cancer, which then affects your chances of surviving,” says Leukaemia Foundation Philanthropy Manager, Rachael Moss. The Leukaemia Foundation has been the grateful recipient of several philanthropic trusts managed by Equity Trustees to date. Follow the link to read more. #leading #trustee #horizon #philanthropy

Carers Victoria is a for-purpose organisation that exists to make life better for carers. They represent and provide a range of assistance to unpaid carers and advocate for positive change.
