Recently we welcomed NSW Minister for Transport, Jo Haylen, to the launch of Janus Electric's latest Charge and Change Station at our Moorebank Intermodal Precinct. These pioneering battery-swapping stations, powered entirely by rooftop solar, mark a significant step in transforming Australia’s heavy vehicle transport sector. The quick swap takes just a few minutes, about the same amount of time as refuelling. A truck with a single trailer can generally travel between 300 to 400km on a single battery, with battery swapping stations strategically located, to keep trucks on the move. It’s the first facility of its kind to be built at an Australian intermodal terminal where freight is moved between road and rail. This milestone reflects our wider commitment cut down greenhouse gas emissions and help to set a new standard in sustainable freight transport. • We are full steam ahead towards our goal to provide our customers access to cleaner, more affordable energy at ESR Australia & NZ's development at Leppington Industry Park. Through our partnership with Energy Bay we’ve completed the installation of 1,319 solar panels on the estate! This system, with a capacity of over 732 kWp, will generate more than 1,000 MWh of solar power annually into the site’s own embedded network —enough to supply over 170 Australian homes with clean energy for a year! 🌞 Combined with the on-site solar generation, the embedded network will provide our customers with cleaner, more affordable electricity – all of whom have chosen to source power from this network. Not only will this support renewable energy adoption but will also prevent 660 tonnes of CO2 emissions* from entering the atmosphere. 🌏 As the world increasingly turns to cleaner, renewable energy solutions, our partnership with Energy Bay allows us to accelerate the deployment of renewable and clean energy infrastructure for the benefit of customers.
