NAB Place Melbourne stands as a pivotal workspace for the bank's Melbourne-based employees, along with 700 Bourke Street in Docklands. Spanning across 39 levels, the awe-inspiring building radiates with natural light, fostering a diverse range of working environments. A prominent feature includes a sprawling three story customer lounge, providing a dynamic space for NAB customers and employees to connect. The lighting design for the NAB Foyer Village showcased a remarkable transformation, incorporating a harmonious blend of architectural and decorative lighting from Reggiani Illuminazione, Flos, and Wästberg creating a captivating and inviting atmosphere. Award winning project by Fiona Lynch, seamlessly incorporates artisanal expertise and the distinctive history of the site to craft the award winning Kiln, restaurant and bar at @Ace Hotel Sydney. The design incorporates predominantly locally sourced materials, with a conscious selection of Australian elements. FLO specifically opted for regional materials, including Australian stone for the bar and floors sourced from nearby quarries. Various Australian timbers, such as Tasmanian Huon Pine, recycled Birdseye Stringybark, and Blackbutt, were used for both the flooring and custom furniture. Lighting played a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive design that aligns with the essence of Ace Sydney, resonating with the Australian landscape through a palette of filtered, luminescent hues.
