Say hello to Exercise Physiologist, Eliza! 👋 Eliza is one of the passionate Exercise Physiologists in our Community Services team, helping seniors build confidence in movement so they can stay strong, safe, and independent at home. “I love helping older adults build a positive relationship with exercise so they feel empowered to move more, with less fear,” says Eliza. “I feel fortunate to be part of a professional and supportive team that shares common values and a client-centred approach.” When she’s not inspiring others to move, Eliza is busy keeping up with her own little team, acting as an Uber driver and snack provider for her beautiful, active children. Learning from the past - Walking together into the future. February 13 marks the anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations. On this day in 2008, the Australian Government formally apologised for the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly the Stolen Generations. It was a significant milestone for healing, truth-telling, and reconciliation.
