Last Friday, we were thrilled to collaborate once again with the Department of Applied Finance at Macquarie Business School for their End-of-Year Celebration & Networking event. We kicked off the day with a workshop on overcoming Networking Phobia, tailored for postgraduate students. The session received overwhelmingly positive feedback and was a fantastic opportunity to equip students with the confidence and tools to network effectively. What made this event even more impactful was the chance for students to immediately put their newly-learned mindset and skills into practice, mingling with lecturers and industry professionals. A special shoutout to Rachel Huang for organising such a meaningful event. Your behind-the-scenes efforts were nothing short of incredible, and they didn’t go unnoticed! Huge thanks to Shiwei Xiao, Catherine LIU, and Vanessa Huang for joining as industry guests. The students truly valued your insights and experiences during the networking session. Looking forward to building on this partnership and creating more opportunities for students in the coming semesters!
