  • 🌏🐟 Celebrating World Fisheries Day with Innovation! 🐟🌏  Today, on World Fisheries Day, we honour the vital role of sustainable fishing in preserving our oceans and ensuring a thriving future for marine life. To mark the occasion, we're thrilled to introduce our newest innovation: the FishNett Tablet. The FishNett Tablet is here to transform the fishing industry by simplifying catch recording, streamlining compliance, and reducing paperwork. With features like instant label printing, transport manifest generation, and export-ready dual-language labelling, it helps fishers save time while supporting sustainable practices.  Sustainability is about working smarter, not harder, and adopting tools that make responsible fishing easier for everyone. Founder at FishNett. Passionate about empowering small-scale fishers with innovative technology that reduces stress and improves the sustainability of the industry and our oceans.

I recently came across something about mistakes that made me reflect on my own and their impact on my life. I've made many mistakes over the years - big ones, small ones, and some that I keep repeating.  In the words of Paul Kelly, "I've done all those dumb things". As entrepreneurs, it's easy to feel like we're failing in our endeavours at times.  It's usually when we lose sight of our dreams or start listening to the doubters that those thoughts creep in — you know, "why do I keep banging my head against this wall?". But this week, I realised that my mistakes and setbacks have played a crucial role in my success.  They've shaped and honed me into the person I am today and have guided me to significant achievements. Fortunately, I've always been quick to own my mistakes.  I believe that when you start laying the blame, you've already been defeated.  The key is to learn from them as quickly as possible, evolve, refocus on your goals, and keep moving forward. It's true that it's better to learn from someone else's mistakes, but don't let your own mistakes get you down or stop you from trying again and again. iAccelerate

  • Exciting Weekend at Ulladulla Fishing Co-op! Our founder recently spent some time this weekend at the Ulladulla Fishing Co-op, observing their workflows during a 30-ton packing operation. It was a fantastic opportunity to see the Fishnett system in action during such a large operation, streamlining the entire process with impressive efficiency. A huge thank you to Adam, the floor manager, and his incredible team for welcoming Vaughan and allowing him to observe their operations. Witnessing the dedication and hard work of the Ulladulla team firsthand was truly inspiring. The invaluable insights gained from this experience will help us develop Fishnett into an even more helpful tool for the industry, enhancing efficiency and sustainability across the board. #FishingIndustry #WorkflowOptimization #Innovation #Sustainability
