One small straw may seem insignificant, but the impact of plastic waste is immense. Plastic pollution like straws, bottles, and bags harms thousands of animals yearly. This National Skip the Straw Day, let’s think bigger. -Bring a reusable water bottle -Say no to plastic straws & cutlery -Use a keep cup for coffee -Carry a reusable bag Share your favorite eco-friendly swap in the comments! Personally, we love our reusable FBA cutlery!

What is brigalow? Brigalow woodlands are made up of eucalypts, acacias, and a bustling community of birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Once stretching across 14 million hectares, brigalow is now a rare gem, with only 5% remaining. 🌳 Why does it matter? 🤔 🌱 Wildlife Haven – Many species rely on brigalow for survival. 🌏 Climate Warrior – Mature brigalow trees store massive amounts of carbon. By conserving and restoring brigalow woodlands, we can rebuild these vital habitats. Let’s ensure this iconic ecosystem thrives for generations to come. 🌏💚 #NaturalHeritageTrust #NaturePositiveAgenda #NaturePositive #NaturePositiveAustralia #Biodiversity #DCCEEW #Conservation Threatened Species Commissioner @Parks Australia @dcceew

A win-win for nature AND farming 🌍🌾 Using helicopter-powered precision, we’re carefully completing targeted brigalow regrowth management. 🌱🌳🚁 By strategically thinning overly dense areas of trees we aim to improve water infiltration and ground cover. This will improve the health of brigalow by reducing interspecies competition, reducing erosion and boosting the soil's overall health.✅ All of which also equals better grazing capacity. 🐮 #NaturalHeritageTrust #NaturePositiveAgenda #NaturePositive #NaturePositiveAustralia #Biodiversity #DCCEEW #Conservation @Threatened species Commissioner @Parks Australia @dcceew

Can you spot the big beautiful bottle trees in the background? Fun fact: Bottle trees are often found towering above the canopy of intact SEVT. If you see tall, fat bottle trees standing out in a pasture, this is a hint that SEVT might have once occurred there. For more info check out our SEVT fact sheet: https://lnkd.in/gwtK67P4
