  • Earlier this week, our Head of Commercial Solutions Emmett Williams joined a panel at the Energy Efficiency Council Buildings Energy Performance Summit. The panel discussion focused on energy flexibility in commercial buildings and apartments and highlighted: 🔸Load flexibility is commonly utilised to optimise pricing outcomes. However, there is a growing trend among businesses to leverage it for carbon reduction. Fortunately, these efforts often align, allowing businesses' to benefit in both areas simultaneously. 🔸A key barrier to load flexibility is often organisational bureaucracy. Without alignment from procurement, sustainability, and operations teams, implementing it can be challenging. 🔸The importance of the ‘human’ element. Successful load flexibility requires active participation from individuals who are motivated and understand the benefits in order to drive its effectiveness. Thank you to the EEC for hosting another great event!

⚡Exciting news⚡ Flow Power has brought our smart, renewables-linked electricity solutions home! Introducing Flow Home, our newest electricity plan designed to make Australian households active participants in the renewable energy transition.  Get rewarded for going green Our unique electricity plan harnesses the power of Australian renewables by incentivising energy use when renewable generation is high. We’ll even link you to a local renewable generator to offset 100% of your electricity’s carbon emissions – no matter when you use energy. Your rate, in your hands With the help of our free energy management tech – the Flow Kit – you can manage your energy use and find the cheapest, greenest times to power up. The more you shift your energy use to times of low wholesale prices and high renewable generation, the lower your electricity rate. If you’re ready to get savvy with your energy use, head to our website to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gWjkjkJH #RenewableEnergy #EnergyManagement #EnergyTech
