Inspiring Founders to solve the world's biggest problems.
About us
The Founder Institute is the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator. In Sydney, our focus is to inspire Australian & NZ Founders to build enduring companies to solve the world's biggest problems. We operate two programs each year - one commencing in Autumn, the other commencing in Spring. We're open to all Founders with an idea or early-stage business, and a drive to make it real, with also a special parallel program focused on Sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We help you get to traction and funding with a support network of startup experts that are invested in your success, and through a structured business-building process that has helped our global alumni raise over $800M. Leaders of the world’s fastest-growing companies have used the Founder Institute to raise funding, get into seed-accelerators, generate traction, recruit a team, build a product, transition from employee to entrepreneur, and more. Originating in Silicon Valley, Founder Institute hash chapters across 180+ cities and a network over 14,000+ mentors. The Founder Institute’s mission is to empower talented and motivated people to build impactful technology-enabled companies worldwide.

I took an "Entrepreneurial DNA" test. Guess what? Challenging old ideas and finding new ways is my default setting. 💪 It’s funny how seeing something so familiar written down can still feel like an "aha!" moment. According to the Founder Institute's Entrepreneurial DNA test, my strengths are crystal clear: → Challenging outdated ways → Striving for better solutions → Coming up with new ideas → Connecting lots of dots → Finding new paths Innovation? Yep, that's my second name indeed. 💯 But here’s what I found even more valuable: ↳ It didn’t just highlight my strengths. ↳ It also gave me tips on how I can improve. Because let’s be real - every strength has its flipside. For innovators like me, staying focused on execution can be tricky. I love brainstorming new ideas (honestly, I could do that all day). But making sure every idea turns from concept to impact? That’s where I need structure. 🫠 And I am glad I got my toolset of structure, grit, and flow. Because honestly, seeing an idea come to life and fly and help others have a breakthrough moment? There's nothing better! 💛 Tests like these are not about putting us into boxes; they’re about awareness: ▶︎ Seeing what we’re great at, so we can lean into it. ▶︎ Seeing where we need support, so we can grow. And that awareness? That’s where transformation and growth begin. 🙌 🚀 Have you explored your entrepreneurial DNA? What did you learn about yourself? Inspired to share by Igor Karpachev's post about his test result last week 🙌 Want to find out yours, too? Check the comments for the link. ———————— 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 👋 𝘐'𝘮 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘯.
