Just thought I'd briefly introduce myself for those who haven't met me. My name is Alex Armstrong and I'm an Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer. I've been working in health/fitness for about 12 years, in a mixture of places: hospitals, universities, private gyms, large commercial gyms, rehabilitation clinics, community health clubs and as a tele-health provider. Although I was never especially gifted at sport or exercise growing up, it was always a space where I feel the safe and free to express myself. As I've gotten older, that hasn't changed, only that I treat my body more respectfully and my goals are centered around the longevity of my body. My goals are to: i) Empower you to take control of your health and fitness. ii) Provide high quality education. iii) Encourage a positive relationship with your body. iv) Guide you to where you want to go with your health and fitness. v) Improve the health in the general community.
