BFT Bondi Junction - This One is Extra Special... I first met with Tom, Oscar & Sheldon back in March 2023 at a café in Bondi Junction. Right from the start, I knew these were the guys to BRING BFT TO BONDI! Over the years, I've met countless people who wanted to open their own BFT studio, and no two meetings have ever been the same. But this one was different—I knew immediately that these guys knew how to bring the energy and create an epic community. The meeting felt less like a business meeting and more like catching up with good mates (and yes, our coffee catch-up quickly turned into a suggestion for a few beers). The way they interacted with each other, their experience in the boutique fitness industry, and the fact that they seemed to know every second person who walked by the café—everything pointed to something special. The guys will be the first to admit that while they have tons of experience running and working in boutique gyms, the business side of things was going to be a learning curve. This is pretty common for first-time franchisees—after all, this is usually people’s first business! Over the next year, we worked closely with the lads—helping them nail their P&L and financial model. Functional Digital & Thomas Hart delivered an incredible pre-sales campaign, and we even assisted in negotiating the purchase of another gym in Bondi Junction, so they could transform it into a BFT! Since joining BFT HQ in 2019, I've been waiting to see our brand take on this marquee area, and on Saturday, the guys did just that! BFT BONDI JUNCTION is officially open, and even better—they opened their doors with over 230 members ON DAY ONE! The BFT Annual Conference 2024 - "Building Better", is done and dusted! A simply inspiring 2 days shared with 300+ Franchisees from around the Globe. We came together to learn, listen, teach and connect. Amanda Stevens's keynote hit the mark perfectly, with plenty for everyone to takeaway and implement.
