We are super thrilled to congratulate our partner, The Hidden Sea Wine on a remarkable milestone - removing an incredible 30 million plastic bottles from the ocean through their work with ReSea Project!   Their dedication and vision inspires us and we are beyond proud to have contributed to making a real impact on this journey.   We brought to life our partnership with The Hidden Sea Wine in select Holey Moley venues across Australia and New Zealand, where we transformed our famous shark holes into immersive experiences to raise awareness about ocean pollution and the impacts on the environment. We think we've not only created unforgettable experiences for our guests but also contributed to cleaner and healthier oceans.   Massive congratulations to The Hidden Sea Wine - 30 million bottles is just the beginning!

For our latest launch in Santa Monica, we set out to throw the ultimate celebration—a spectacular, show-stopping event worthy of our most monumental launch ever in Los Angeles! Partnering with the phenomenal team at INDSTRY, we hosted an electrifying extravaganza spanning three levels. With a jaw-dropping turnout of over 650 attendees and an incredible lineup of DJs and entertainment, headlined by the legendary Autograf, it was nothing short of an epic night. This was, without question, the most unforgettable, larger-than-life party we’ve ever thrown and the perfect way to kick putt for our latest opening. A huge thanks to all our partners involved who make this party so incredible, including BOMANI, Sydney Beer Co USA, LIXIR and Lo Siento Tequila!

Last week we wished a happy Motherfunnin’ Funlab 20th birthday to our resident amazing Green Fairy, Funlab Book Club Queen and Chief People Officer, Chelsea Mannix! 🎂 🎂 🎂 Chelsea first joined the fun-journey alongside Founder Michael Schreiber as a Games Attendant, before returning to be the first HR Manager for Strike with 2 venues. Since then, she’s not only become our Chief People Officer looking after over 2500 Motherfunners, but has also written a book about the history of our business, called “You Motherfunner!” More recently, she’s helped led our efforts to reduce our environmental and social impact, through a wide range of ESG initiatives across our venues worldwide as well as our annual Day of Fun initiative with headspace. To top off her birthday complete with delicious cake, alongside the People Experience team she visited our most recent venue Holey Moley Funhouse for a massive day out! 🪩 🎉 🥳  

In early December, we'll be opening our 3rd venue in the Lone Star state with the launch of Holey Moley in San Antonio! Opening at the iconic Rivercenter downtown, look forward to not only 27 holes of pop-culture minigolf, but also karaoke rooms and alfresco seating on the riverfront to enjoy some of our famous cocktails! Today it was a massive honour for our CEO Michael Schreiber to present the team at headspace a cheque for the biggest Day of Fun fundraising total ever at a whopping $346,926! Youth mental health is an issue close to all of our Motherfunner's hearts at Funlab, with our annual Day of Fun helping raise money for these causes with discounted activities across our brands. This year also saw us raise $55,000 for a range of partners internationally, working in New Zealand with the legends at Youthline and in the USA with SIMS Foundation in Austin, SF LGBT Center in San Francisco, The Center on Colfax in Denver and Southern Smoke Foundation in Houston! With a total of $400,000 raised worldwide, it's our biggest result ever for one of the most important day's on Funlab's calendar, that helps make the world better by having fun together!
