Yesterday, Phil Aldridge and Chuong Mai-Viet met with some of the top insurance brokers in Perth. Educating the business community on cyber risks has been a core part of Fuse Technology's mission, and partnering with insurance brokers who provide cyber insurance to their clients plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. While cyber insurance is an important component of a strong cybersecurity posture, it is not enough on its own. Businesses also need to implement robust cybersecurity measures and foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness among employees to prevent incidents. By working collaboratively, Fuse Technology and insurance brokers can empower the business community to build resilience and stay protected against cyberthreats. The Australian Signals Directorate's Cyber Threat Report 23-24 was released earlier this month. This year’s report outlines the cyber threat posed to Australian governments, critical infrastructure, businesses and households. It shows how malicious state actors and cybercriminals are continuing to adapt their tradecraft in an attempt to compromise Australian networks. Along with listing the 15 most commonly exploited vulnerabilities used by threat actors in 2023, the most alarming finding is that the use of zero-day exploits is on the rise. Fuse Technology reposted this
Had an amazing time being with our Microsoft team, colleagues from all over the world, and so many of our trusted partners at this year’s Ingram Micro ONE event, where AI and innovation took center stage. A key highlight was having the privilege of selecting and showcasing some of our top partners at this year’s Shark Tank event, which included our finalists Dynapt, Fuse Technology, MRE Consulting, Nerds That Care, and Trace3, who are driving innovation through AI solutions with Microsoft technology. Beyond that, being able to connect with partners in roundtable and panel discussions allowed us to explore new areas of opportunity and hear valuable insights to build greater success together. Thanks to all who made this possible and excited to see what we continue to accomplish together! If you're still running Windows 10, it's time to start thinking about an upgrade. Microsoft has officially announced that support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025. This means that after October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. While the end is still a year away, it's important to start planning your upgrade now. There is not enough equipment to replace all hardware for everyone, so it's strongly recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible. We can help you assess your current situation and help you upgrade your fleet to the latest OS. Learn more: https://buff.ly/40ssubD
