We collected hundreds of cans and bottles for recycling through our CDS depot at 144 Talinga Rd, Cheltenham. As such the Scope 1 and 2 emissions associated with the running of the business have been calculated from all material emissions sources which principally relate to energy consumption (power and fuel) and total 1,402 tonnes of CO2e. The calculation of emissions has been carried out in accordance with the Federal Government’s Greenhouse Accounts Factors (2014) and consistent with the methodology outlined in the National Carbon Offset Standard, matching Verified Carbon Units issued by the Voluntary Carbon Standard have been purchased and retired to offset the 1,402 tonnes of CO2e emitted by Future Recycling

Proud to be a founder of This is IT Schools and this momentous milestone! 2500 laptops have now been donated to disadvantaged students across the South East. The milestone was reached with the hand-over of 120 laptops for students at Noble Park Secondary College, Carwartha College P-12 and Oakwood School last on Friday 2nd August. This batch of computers was funded by the Victoria State Government Noble Park Suburban Revitalisation Board. This is IT Schools was launched in 2020 by Future Recycling, Corex Australia and Hilton Manufacturing Pty Ltd and has provided new and repurposed laptops for students at 40 schools in six council areas, including City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Shire Council.
