🚢 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 Our German Delegation of the Civil Maritime Industry has arrived and started their one-week business trip in Perth! The delegation takes place in collaboration with the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz and the Markterschließungsprogramm (MEP) (Market Entry Programme), GeMaX - German Maritime Export Initiative as well as the Verband für Schiffbau und Meerestechnik e.V. (VSM). Welcome to Australia 🇦🇺 : • ar engineers GmbH • Fraunhofer IGP • Gold Engineering GmbH (Germany) • HASYTEC Electronics AG • PROSTEP AG • Ingenieurbüro Weselmann GmbH & Co. KG The first half of the delegation was spent in beautiful #Perth, also locally known as the City of Light. As usual, our delegation started with a country briefing and a specific industry briefing on Western Australia's Maritime Industry and its market opportunities, industry insights and key trends. Our 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙢 on Tuesday then saw the opportunity for our delegates to present their expertise to the Australian audience. A great morning of networking and fostering bilateral business relations. Western Australia offers great potential to the industry through its location alone right at the Indian Ocean - making it easy to connect with many maritime industry hubs in Southeast Asia. Our delegates were curious to explore the market further and expand their footprint in Western Australia. ➡ Next stop: Hobart #AHKAustralien #WesternAustralia #PartnerWeltweit #BusinessDelegation

🤝 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁: 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 Our Deputy Executive Director Max Schnarr, and Customer Success Senior Consultant Sarah Christin Reichmann, had the opportunity to visit Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and get an exclusive tour from Ray Krikorian, Terry Alexopoulos and Lukas Hansen. What an incredible introduction to the world of logistics! We got an up-close look at Hellmann's state-of-the-art operations, handling everything from food and medical supplies to concert equipment for global celebrities and iconic pop stars! Here are some fascinating highlights: • Capacity: 7,000 pallets hosted, comparable to an airport in complexity! • Security: 484 cameras (internal & external), frequent Australian Border Force visits, and an X-ray station for added security. • Cold Storage: Temperature-controlled rooms ranging from -20°C to 16°C, ensuring optimal conditions for food and medical goods. • Global Reach: Fruit heading to China, an inspection area dedicated to coffee, and customs-cleared operations that make international trade seamless. A huge thank you to the Hellmann team for this tour and for showcasing their critical role in facilitating trade and logistics between Germany, Australia, and beyond! #AHKAustralien #HellmannWorldwideLogistics

👀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 Last week, we invited Marketing Managers and CMOs of our member companies to join the Marketing Circle in Sydney and 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲. Thank you to Nele Jooste-Jacobs and the team at Schweizer Kobras for hosting us and providing a wonderful spread to nourish our morning round. With many discussions on 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, it was no surprise that the core discussion areas were around that space while also bringing up the conversation on 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺. • New tools to help us streamlining our business and marketing practises are popping up daily. However, often departments make their own decisions and unifying a company's needs and syncing various software tools can become a challenge. • Community Management on Social Media goes beyond flagging certain words and activating language filters. Negative feedback can add to brand engagement and taking the conversation offline or in a private message is the goal. However, in times of division and radicalism, it often adds to the challenge. • Learning and upskilling as a marketer is crucial. While masterclasses, webinars, and courses are a great start, the round found it of tremendous value to join conferences and roundtables where there is a lot of exchange on best practises, experience and navigating through the marketing world in a collaborative approach. Thank you to all our members who continue to participate in our Marketing Circle and other Circles. It is a fantastic platform to learn from each other and tackle hurdles together. We look forward to the next discussion in the New Year! #AHKAustralien #Marketing
