This is the first opportunity to apply to exhibit at Golden Spaces in 2025, with EOI’s for the Winter Exhibition open now for local artists and creative practitioners. Today, Golden Plains Shire Councillor Emma Robbins joined Member for Ballarat and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, Catherine King, to officially open the new lighting at Woady Yaloak Recreation Reserve in Smythesdale. This $550,000 project featured a significant upgrade to the reserve’s sports oval and court lighting and was entirely funded by the Federal Government’s Investing in Our Communities Program. The new lighting system features state of the art LED lighting which has enhanced the reserve’s usability, safety and programming capabilities.
