Community Leadership In Action - Steering Committee for the Accelerating CaLD Engagement in Ag Communities Project 💫 The next initiative we would like to showcase is the Accelerating CaLD Engagement in Ag Communities Project 🚜, where Mariola Nebiu FF'24, sponsored by Greater Shepparton City Council, has joined as a Steering Committee Member. The project, hosted by Primary Care Connect and lead by Gardiner Foundation, aims to promote sustainable growth in the agriculture and dairy industries. It leverages community expertise, evidence-based approaches, and collaboration to empower culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) communities to thrive within these sectors. Community Leadership In Action - Yarrawonga CFA Junior Brigade (ages 11 to 15) 💫 Community leadership in action is about mobilising people, ideas, and resources to create meaningful impact. This year, the 2024 Fairley Leadership cohort have embodied this by actively engaging with their communities, driving positive change, and fostering collaboration. We’re excited to highlight some of the incredible ways they’ve made a difference! The first initiative we would like to showcase is the Yarrawonga CFA Junior Brigade 🚒, a collaboration between: ⭐ Michael Coldham FF'24 sponsored by Moira Shire Council (Junior Leader) ⭐ Renee Parks (Junior Leader) ⭐ Yarrawonga CFA Yarrawonga CFA has started a new program for juniors aged 11 to 15 to join the Junior Brigade and learn about firefighting, community, safety and first aid.
