📣Media Release - GPSA welcomes the Albanese government’s plans to grow more GPs and RGs for our communities. Prime Minister Albanese has announced a major boost to Commonwealth support for primary care training, adding 400 extra vocational GP-in-training places, 400 new prevocational rotations, and 150 additional CSPs for medical students by 2028. “This is a potential game changer for GP supervisors and training practices,” says GPSA Chair Dr. Srishti Dutta.
