🌱💧Several members of the Pepper Money family used their annual volunteer day to team up with Greater Sydney Landcare at Warners Park in Northridge. Colleagues from across the Marketing, Credit and Technology teams worked together to tackle the invasive weeds that were hindering the growth of the native plants. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about the local ecosystem and test the local waterways for environmental impacts - we’re thrilled to report that the little pond in the park is healthy and thriving! The day wrapped up with an informative bush walk and a delicious BBQ with the whole team. A big thank you to everyone who participated and made a real life difference to the local community. #PepperMoney #Community #EnvironmentalCare #Teamwork #Sustainability #LifeAtPepper

In April and May 2024, Greater Sydney Landcare’s Sophie Blair delivered wildlife camera workshops for Wattle Grove students, after a koala was spotted on school grounds in 2023. The students learned about citizen science, koalas and wildlife in the area, as well as how to monitor them with wildlife cameras. Greater Sydney Landcare donated a wildlife camera kit for the school to continue their citizen science, and hopefully see more koalas on the grounds sometime soon.
