    GURNER™ is thrilled to receive planning approval for the first stage of our Docklands mega-project, “Elysium Fields”—designed as a wellness and anti-ageing utopia.   The precinct is inspired by a futuristic approach to holistic health and anti-ageing, with the private amenities and residences incorporating the latest technologies in health and wellness. “At GURNER™ we are no strangers to pushing the boundaries of design. Now we are taking this one step further with Elysium Fields. This will be Australia’s first next-generation wellness precinct where our homes can make us healthier and have a marked impact on our mental and physical wellbeing.” —Tim Gurner, Founder and Executive Chairman    The development will include over 1,100 BTR and BTS apartments, a retail and hospitality precinct, a 4-star short-stay hotel with circa 100 keys, and another premier 5-star hotel in the main tower. It will also have state-of-the-art conference facilities, a business club, and hospitality offerings.   Early construction works are expected to commence in the next four weeks.

    Port Douglas set to be a landmark destination resort and private residences following planning approval. With an end value of $250 million, the now-approved resort will bring together 112 hotel rooms across a three-storey building, including the six “underwater” aquarium rooms with a glassed wall creating an underwater visage into the lagoon. The resort will also feature a residential component, consisting of 44 ultra-luxury homes and town homes, with seven different villa types and the ability to provide both short-term and permanent accommodation. Purchasers will have the option of incorporating advanced wellness options that have been curated to promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Working with Port Douglas-based Hunt Design as lead architect, the result is a landmark resort that’s been inspired by Europe’s best beach clubs, including Saint Tropez and the Greek islands, that centres around its distinctive blue lagoon and features bars and restaurants, a day spa and gymnasium facilities.     GURNER™ submits new plans for high-end $800 million Sydney Harbour Towers at 189 Kent Street. We are thrilled to continue with our strong momentum in 2024 with submitting revised plans for an $800 million, city-shaping project at 189 Kent Street.  The plans – a modification to the existing approved scheme will take all the learnings from GURNER™’s Saint Moritz and Hawksburn Place, both of which set a new benchmark for high-end living in Melbourne, and bring it to the Sydney market at the landmark harbour site.  The new vision includes a strong focus on high-end amenity and service, more of which will be revealed closer to launch in mid-2025. The building is designed by fjcstudio, which won an international design competition to lead the architecture.  Founder and Executive Tim Gurner say’s “ We get many enquiries from Sydney residents wanting us to bring the prestige, amenity and service of Saint Moritz to Sydney, and that is exactly what we will be doing.“ https://lnkd.in/gKyPfQaF

      GURNER™ SUBMITS PLANS FOR $800M HIGH-END BUILDING ON ICONIC SOUTH YARRA GATEWAY SITE    We’re excited to announce that GURNER™ has submitted plans for its 4,651sqm ‘trophy site’ at 424 – 426 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, with a vision to deliver ultra-luxury residences with a focus on privacy and befitting of the prestigious location.    After a detailed international design competition, we have selected Chicago-based, international architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) to deliver circa 200 apartments over 19 levels, with a focus on large two, three, four bedroom and two double-storey penthouse offerings, alongside a signature amenity offering.    The design of 424 St Kilda Road has taken design cues from the rich history of St Kilda Road’s old-world mansions through its elegant masonry façade, and will focus on high-end residences with a secret Porte Cochere arrival experience and lobby underground.    Tim Gurner said “We will be taking the high-end offering to a whole new level after the successful delivery of Saint Moritz which has set the tone for our concept at 424 St Kilda Road”.

    NEW $400 MILLION BTR TOWER IN SOUTHBANK   The GQ Build-to-Rent (BTR) platform, backed by GURNER™ and Qualitas, has entered a joint venture with Malaysian developer OSK Property to develop and operate a BTR residential tower within the $2.8 billion Melbourne Square precinct in Southbank, Melbourne.   The $2.8 billion Melbourne Square encompasses five towers, a 3,745sqm public park, full-line Woolworths, childcare and number of retailers, with the GQ BTR tower designed by Cox Architecture set to add best-in-class amenity to the existing precinct, delivering around 500 residences and extensive communal amenities.    GURNER™ Group Chief Development Officer Robert Clarke, said: “ We are excited to be working with the team at OSK Property to deliver the Build-to-Rent tower at Melbourne Square – it’s a project we’ve been watching for many years, and we are looking forward to contributing first-class rental accommodation to the precinct”. https://lnkd.in/ge3sZs6j
