We are very excited to announce that Hawkins Watts Australia has acquired the Queensland business Taste Rite Agencies! ✨🥳 Taste Rite is a flavour and ingredient distributor founded by Julie and Peter Flatz in 1995. For almost 30 years Julie and Peter have been a well-loved part of the Queensland food industry, leading their business with dedication and passion. This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for us, with Hawkins Watts being cemented as a truly national force in the Australian specialty ingredients market.   As HWA Director Ian Robinson says, "We are excited at this great opportunity to expand Hawkins Watts, and pleased to welcome the incredible Taste Rite team to the Hawkins Watts Group. Yesterday, both our NZ and AU teams had the privilege of hearing from Niki Bezzant—author of two best-selling books on menopause and perimenopause, and founding editor of Healthy Food Guide. Niki shared powerful insights into the realities of menopause and how we can better support midlife women in the workplace.    With menopausal women as the fastest-growing demographic in the workforce and 1 in 4 women set to be menopausal by 2030, this conversation couldn’t be more timely.   A huge thanks to Gail and Sandra for organising this important session—helping us approach this topic with empathy and practical support. 🌸
