Last night, our Senior Strategist Jack Winter attended 'Data Down Under', hosted by GWI. It was a fantastic evening full of rich insights, all tailored for marketers looking to resonate with Aussie audiences. Here's the biggest takeaways from the night. 🏅 The biggest women's sports fans in Australia are baby boomers, between 7-13 points more engaged than any other generation. 🤖 Aussies believe they'll like content a lot less if they discover that content has been made by AI, showing that there is still a strong craving for creations by humans over machines. 📺 Linear TV is still dominating over streaming in Australia in likelihood to watch and time spent - which is in particular contrast to APAC region where streaming is on par. 🛫 Aussie travellers are more likely to be influenced to travel by friends and family than they are by influencers or celebrities, which has implications for those in the tourism sector when it comes to social content planning. #Content #FutureOfContent #AI

Last week, at the State Library Victoria, our agency network Hardie Grant Media – alongside futures think tank SOON Future Studies – delivered the third annual Future Forecast report. With panel discussions all about the history and future of trust, we’ve picked three big takeaways, among many others, for brands to consider. 💡 There’s a shift in who people trust, with consumers trusting ‘someone like me’ rather than brands and organisations 🌐 A connection with Country can be an antidote to hyper online culture – with a provocation for people to avoid a gravestone that reads “they were in back-to-back meetings” ✅ Brands can leverage community building and authenticity to win back trust from the public – but they must lead with transparency. Interested in reading the Future Forecast report? Reach out to the H&T team for your copy. #FutureForecast

Thrilled to have supported one of our client partner's recent events, with our very own Rod Mooseek and Jennifer Hobson attending the Awards of Excellence 2024, run by The Faculty. It was a great opportunity to network with those in the procurement sector, as well as see our digital and printed collateral come to life. Congrats to the team for delivering such a successful event. #HeadsAndTales #HardieGrantMedia #ContentAgency

This week is National Reconciliation Week. National Reconciliation Week is an important time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The theme for this year is NOW MORE THAN EVER, and it's a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will — and must — continue. Reconciliation starts with us. Visit the Reconciliation Australia website for more information and to discover what activities and events are taking place in your local area during National Reconciliation Week: https://lnkd.in/fRGry5x #NRW2024
