New biomedical precinct at Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEII) to further bolster the medical research and innovation industry in Western Australia announced. The establishment of a biomedical precinct in Perth will encourage co-location of world leading researchers and innovators, and provide them access to state-of-the-art infrastructure, higher education institutions and world class hospitals to drive transformational research. On completion this would be the largest biomedical precinct in the southern hemisphere, further positioning WA’s intention for a collaborative research and innovation ecosystem.
