  • Happy Tuesday Leaders: Are Blind Spots Holding You Back?🕶 In business and life, the person with the fewest blind spots is always the winner. Yet, too often, we fall into what is called the Ostrich Effect—burying our heads in the sand, avoiding the uncomfortable truths that could unlock our next level of success. Blind spots can show up as ignoring financial issues, avoiding tough conversations, or resisting change. But awareness is power. The sooner we uncover what we don’t want to see, the faster we can course-correct and thrive. Here’s a quick challenge: Where might you be avoiding the truth in your business or leadership? Take a moment today to reflect—what’s one area where facing reality could set you up for greater success? I’d love to hear your thoughts—just hit reply. Let’s lift our heads and move forward with clarity! If you're looking for a community that’s all about growth and acceleration, let me know—I'd love to connect- https://lnkd.in/dmiav-US

  • Who’s Got Your Back? Every great leader, every bold decision-maker, and every ambitious woman in business knows one thing—you can’t do it alone. The real question isn’t just who you know but who’s got your back? Who challenges you to think bigger? Who holds you accountable? Who pushes you forward when self-doubt creeps in? At HERA Women, we know that success isn’t just about strategy—it’s about support. When women come together with the right mix of leadership, mentorship, and accountability, everything changes. So, who’s got your back?

Helping Elite Businesses Scale Smarter | Building Strategy and Aligned, High-Performance Teams & Systems That Drive Growth & Deliver on Your Strategy

I’ve been in many rooms filled with ambitious people. Some networks thrive on exclusivity, others on appearances. But the truly transformative ones? They are built on authenticity, emotional intelligence, and service. This Wednesday, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the remarkable women at Hera Women—including Pamela Cominos, 🦋 and Patch Clunes. Meeting Pamela was a moment of recognition. You know when you meet someone, and you just know you’re onto something? That’s what it felt like. Then I met Patch a few weeks later through my darling Sharon Williams OAM, and it reinforced the point: Hera is a group where women genuinely support women. It took me back to my school days. There were always groups: 👑 The “in” crew—popular, highly focussed on appearance, polished, but often performative. 💡 The geeks—brilliant minds, socially awkward, big-hearted. 💬 The down-to-earth leaders—confident in who they were, focused on something deeper than fitting in. The best leaders I know don’t strive to be in the “in” crowd. They lead with emotional intelligence. They create spaces where others feel safe to be their full selves. They build real influence—not through exclusivity, but through service. (I was friends with everybody but fitted most into the "down-to-earth" group, and I was the one both sides turned to for conflict resolution, advice, help and tutoring. In hindsight, maybe I should have become a UN mediator or a judge 🤔🤷♀️) As an Execution Architect working with elite scaling businesses, I know that success isn’t just about systems and strategy. It’s about the people who hold you up, challenge you, and push you forward. Your network is your leadership ecosystem. So ask yourself: Are you in a room that helps you grow? Also, if you'd like to grab a virtual coffee or join me at one of the events I’m attending, let me know. ❤️ #LeadershipMatters #ScalingUp #WomenSupportingWomen
