📸 Iain, what’s a snapshot of your day-to-day activities at Humanforce? I usually have several items to work on each day like writing a blog, working on an eBook or PowerPoint event/webinar presentation, or doing a written customer story. Certainly, it’s a rare day if I can dedicate myself to just one of those items! Depending on the task, I might be researching a particular topic, writing, editing/proof-reading, or marking up changes on a designed PDF, plus lots of collaboration with the broader marketing team and business! 🧐 In what ways do you see our values shaping the future of Humanforce? Our five values act as guide rails for everyone at Humanforce, so that we’re all on the same page and working towards the same end goals. These values also reinforce that it’s not just about what we do but how we do it. For example, ‘We are all in’ is powerful. I know that I’m only as good as the people I work with. We all need to rely on each other, lean into each other, and support each other to get our work done. 👀 Is there any advice you’d go back and give to yourself at the beginning of your career? Stick with it! I started my career as a journalist and job opportunities were few and far between. There were many times when I thought “this was a serious mistake”. But just when you’re ready to give it up, something always comes up 😎 What's one thing your colleagues might be surprised to learn about you? I’m listed on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) as an actor for an independent film called ‘The Big Noise’. It’s a small role and was done as a favour to a director friend. Needless to say, Anthony Hopkins (no relation) has nothing to be worried about and I wasn’t inundated with acting offers!
